At 9 a.m. this morning the timbers were on the ground. By 3 p.m. this afternoon, they were up and giving shape to the Falk Nest, all much faster than most would think was even possible. Today and every day, our install people are doing what they do best: building something great, efficiently and effectively.
The Falk Nest is a powerful architectural structure with technology at its core. This 6,400 sq ft, 28 ft tall sophisticated structure would not have come to fruition if it weren’t for the amazing team of skilled Falkers—each of whom have the creativity and courage to imagine it was possible and the technical ability to make it so.
Everyone working on the Falk Nest had total freedom to imagine the space—there were no rules they had adhere to. Instead of thinking how he would build the Falk Nest, engineer Chris Friedlos' approach was to imagine how things would fit together. In the end, he designed over 120 unique technical parts that connect inside the Falk Nest.
Chris worked closely with Soodabeh Naderi, our talented architectural designer, who had total autonomy to make design decisions. And boy did she ever. ‘Impressive’ doesn’t do it justice. The Falk Nest is absolutely wow-worthy.
Wait until you see it. And tune in as we finish building this remarkable structure. We will share the process so you can see it go up, right before your eyes.
